Well, awards season reached its peak last night with the 86th Academy Awards. Congrats to Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Jared Leto and all of the night’s big winners. We also want to give Ellen DeGeneres kudos for doing a fantastic job hosting.
However, since we’re more fashion focused, we want to talk about the style and glamour. One thing we noticed was all the statement jewelry, especially the necklaces. Also, navy blue was a hot color – from Amy Adams’ gorgeous gown to several tuxedos.
Now, this is where we would normally list our picks for Best and Worst Dressed. But, we didn’t spot any big fashion fails last night. Anne Hathaway’s dress was pretty distracting while she was presenting, but looked impressive on the red carpet. If anything, the stars played it a bit safe, but still looked gorgeous for the most part. So, we’re just going to highlight the Best Dressed beauties from Hollywood’s biggest night.
